Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your reservation. Group rentals of 5 boards or more, require 48 hours notice. Late cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
What if I damage a rental board?
We require a credit card pre-auth. on the day of the rental. The cardholder must be present to sign the rental agreement. The renter is responsible for any damage during the rental duration. The security deposit for each board is $500.
When should I arrive to pick up my rental?
We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early. This allows us enough time to do a quick safety briefing, go over waiver forms, and answer any questions you might have. We are located right in the town of Valemount and our recommended SUP destinations are all a short drive. We want you to be able to maximize your paddling time!
Do you deliver?
Yes! We are able to deliver to these recommended locations for an additional fee. Deliveries and pick up services are available ONLY for full day rentals.
-Cranberry Lake (Cedarside Regional Park)- $10 drop off/pick up
-Kinbasket Lake (10 km and 12 km east side)- $20 drop off/pick up
-Cranberry Marsh- $10 drop off/pick up
Do you provide lessons?
Not at this time, however, we will give you a short introduction at pick up or delivery. We will go over the equipment and safety features and well as a quick launching demonstration.
What do I wear?
Dress for the weather! Be prepared to be active, comfortable, and to get wet. It's a good idea to bring a towel and a change of clothes for after your paddle. Sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, a hat, water bottle, and secure footwear that can get wet. We carry 10 and 20 litre dry bags at an additional rental cost for you to safely store your belongings.
What is the weight limit on my SUP rental?
Our 11' Body Glove boards have a 320 lb. weight capacity.
Our 10'6 iRocker Nautical boards have a 240 lb. weight capacity.
What is included with my rental?
You get a paddle, PFD, whistle, pump, and safety leash.
Can my child paddleboard?
Adults 19 and older are permitted to rent stand up paddle boards without any restrictions. Children ages 8-17 may paddle their own board, as long as a parent or guardian is in the water with them. Any child 7 and under can ride on the front of the board with an adult. All minors must have a Parental Consent Waiver signed prior to activity.
Can I rent for a child that is not legally under my care?
You can, as long as the Parental Consent Waiver is signed by their legal parent or guardian ahead of time.
